The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans supports outstanding immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate education in the United States. Since 1998, 775 Fellows from 103 countries have been award Fellowships to pursue degrees of their choosing. This year, 30 individuals were selected out of nearly 2,000 applicants. The selection criteria focused on a student’s drive, creativity, intellectual spirit, and their commitment to the values at the heart of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights.
